Kill Tha G Word pays tribute to P.H.A.S.E. 2’s lifelong battle against the term "Graffiti," coined by the media to describe the emerging Writing movement of which he was a founding father.
"Kill Tha G Word" takes us on a journey through the main Italian cities where Phase 2 traveled. From Milan to Bologna, from Rimini to Turin, each stop on the path reveals unique works left by the artist on the streets, tangible evidence of his presence. The book offers a comprehensive collection of unpublished material, snapshots capturing the essence of that era, alongside drawings, graphics, and notes by the artist, allowing a glimpse into the creative process and the philosophy behind the works that continue to fascinate and inspire.
Through the testimonies of some of the leading figures in the Italian Hip Hop scene who shared unforgettable moments with P.H.A.S.E. 2, we will discover how his time in Italy influenced and helped shape the country's Hip Hop scene, from his arrival in 1984 for Arte di Frontiera to his last appearance in 2012. It is an extraordinary journey where the history of Phase 2 and Italian Hip Hop merge into a unique, irreplaceable street symphony.

This valuable material has been made available thanks to contributions from key figures in the Italian Hip Hop scene, who have shared their memories and testimonies.
